Lucas arrives!

Lucas Peter Terborgh joined our family on Thursday, April 4th at 7:34am, weighing in at 7lbs 7oz and measuring 21" long. We couldn't be happier to welcome this sweet boy into the world!

Lucas's birth was amazingly calm---we checked into the hospital at 5am, and two and half hours later we had our baby boy!  Lucas announced his arrival with vigor, but has been a very happy and content baby since.  We are so blessed to have him in our lives!

Grandma and Grandma flew to Colorado to take care of David while we were in the hospital, and came to meet Lucas right after he was born.  Big brother David met him the next day and was so gentle and sweet with his little brother.  David was especially interested in Lucas's little hat and his bulb syringe :). 

After a quick two-day stay in the hospital, we headed home with our little bundle to start our new life as a family of four!
